Artist Statement

My aim is to portray the essence of life & the soul of the animals & people I paint. I am blessed to use my talent to give so much joy & happiness to others capturing the unique personality of these beautiful furry friends & people. This makes my spirits soar when I see their reaction to a portrait. 

I have learned that life is a journey of stormy seas & bright sunny days.  We all navigate this life as best we can with those we love by our side, our family, our furry friends. My paintings are forever memories to cherish. I am grateful to all the wonderful people I have meet who have commissioned one of my works & become my friends.

Pencil & Pastel

Gives a softer look, high quality acid free pastel paper & sprayed with fixative to preserve the painting. (framing highly recommended)

Acrylic & Oil

Acrylic is vibrant colour more matt finish.
Oil gives a richness of colour a glossier finish but takes longer to dry and usually to complete.

Framing

We can organise framing options for your new DiART piece. Framing under glass is highly recommended to preserve pastel paintings.
